first topic of discussion today, in my 1250pm class–

[miss sino kausap niyo sa phone?; miss friendster pinag-uusapan niyo 'no] did you know there’s a new friendster feature [ya dami nang bago sa friendster; sus friendster; miss let's check our friendster!] we can’t on this computer the technician will get mad.  anyway this new feature lets you keep track of the people who have viewed your profile [what!; miss again; how does it work?!] diba there’s a record of the number of times your profile has been viewed.  under that it says "who’s viewed me *new*".  you click on that then a list appears [aaaaaagh! the girls go with their hands on their cheeks; some of the boys go yari!; miss did this start today lang?] think so.  i only found out about it today.  but i think the list shows the record for the entire month [we all go aaaaaagh!]

pati ako disturbed.  i’m dead i swear.

[joshua: ok lang wala naman akong friendster]

parang ayoko na rin mag-friendster, tumatalino na siya masyado.  right now i’m seriously thinking of deleting my account.

amidst the throng of atenistas and lasalistas crowding about and squeezing their way out of the gates of araneta after the game, patching talks on the phone with japs, team manager of the current ateneo cheerdancers.  she desperately tries to explain to her where we were situated exactly so that she could come find us and give us our tickets for saturday’s cheering competition.  as these tickets were ordered by phone, with japs being a mere delivery girl, we had no idea what she looked like and neither did she of us.

"…hello basta japs we’re here right in the center, outside the green gate.  i’m wearing yellow shoes…"

grabe na-miss ko si patching.

sabi ni mamia ang magaganda daw at guwapo generally mababait.  kasi daw hindi sila hirap sa buhay.  eh kaya naman pala ang sama ng ugali ng ‘first daughter of _ _ _’ eh.

other words of wisdom from mama mia:

"para mejorar la raza." -why it’s important to marry somebody good-looking.

"primero diyos, despues los santos." -she’s the diyos of course.  this is related to what she always tells lolo colonel: "what’s yours is mine, what’s mine is also mine."  but she just says that.  she’s actually a very generous and giving person.

when my dad asked how she feels about the passing away of almost all her contemporaries : "mala hierba nunca muere."

since we’re talking espangol, just a short poem that mamia taught us:

un dia de otono -cono-

me paso un rio taho -carajo-

tres ladrones -cabrones-

mero baron mi maleta -puneta-

best news i’ve heard in ages.

there’s a huge possibility that quincy will be here for the studio’s 25th anniversary show in december.  and consequently he’ll be home for christmas.  i know i shouldn’t get my hopes up coz something might come up and he might have to cancel but i’m super duper excited.  woohoo.
