(x) eat at Manang’s
pero siguro mga once or twice lang.  kahit alam kong dun kumakain madalas yung sison twins.  di kasi ako actually kumakain sa school.  either katipunan lang or starve

(X) learn the alma mater
i was watermelon-ing it for a time, anyway ang importante lang naman is the "win or lose it’s the school we choose" part.   but you learn the whole thing eventually after going to a million basketball games

( ) get on the dean’s list
i didn’t really study in college.  incriminating evidence!

( ) lie down and sleep on a bench along EDSA walk
sleep?  no.  lie down and chill?  and watch people pass by?  yes. 

( ) be a TNT!
i remember feeling bad for people i knew who wanted to be one and didn’t get accepted, parang why is this such a big deal?  and don’t they need all the help they can get?  tanggapin na lahat! 

(X) jog around the campus in the evening
late afternoon before cheering practice.  talagang tinaon namin sa running time ng men’s basketball team.  haay i had such fun, kikay teammates.  ang layo pala nung tinatakbo namin if you look at the topview of ateneo from burgundy

(X) visit the art gallery
i had art-appreciating friends -ivy, dinggay…

(x) know at least one xerox lady, manong, or technician by name
the xerox girls at the kostka extension, pero siempre nakalimutan ko na ngayon

(X) get a Jesuit for a teacher
heller -nebres, que, balchand, roach, etc etc.  they’re actually the nicest (father roach was scary but he did all the talking during our final orals.  ayus.  ).  parang sa lasalle super bait ng mga lasalle brother -brother greg!!!

( ) itch from higad bites
nope.  pero itch from mosquito bites at the dengue bench?  yes

(X) have gotten an F in something
incriminating evidence!!!

(x) watch a La Salle vs. Ateneo UAAP game

(X) give a powerpoint presentation

( ) study in the Caf Upstairs

(X) watch a T.A. play
required ba naman

( ) sit on the SEC ledge and watch the stars
watch the stars???  teka where’s sec again?

(x) eat in Full House, Martha’s Kitchen, and Ken Afford
full house lang.  bago masunog

(X) sleep in the lib
i would doze off trying to study

( ) visit Mr. San Andres
sino yun?

(X) go to the chapel
i would hear mass almost every morning

( ) have gotten a pebble stuck in your shoe/slippers in the middle of the quad

( ) cut class with your block to watch a movie
ang chummy naman.  was never that close with any of my blocks -english block, LM, euro.  ang anti-social ba?  kaya nga galit saken si kenny at coley eh

( ) sign up for those institutional (i.e. difficult but brilliant) teachers: Ferriols, Dacanay, David, Manacsa, Ang, Escaler, Arcilla, Totanes, and many others
i got miguel coz, aside from not knowing anybody else anyway,  i thought i was gonna be inspired.  but i just ended up hating him.  and then 2 sems later friends na kami ulit coz i forgot galit pala ako sa kanya.  "hi sir!"  "psst ivy ba’t parang gulat siya na we said hi?"

(x) go to CERSA night

(X) have tried siomai rice

( ) learn how to smoke
highschool pa ako tinuturuan i never learned naman

(x) actually read the book you keep borrowing from the lib

(X) learn to stay awake for more than 24 hours straight
as in i was the only one who wouldn’t nap during all-nighters.  nakakapraning when everybody else is asleep na

(x) watch “Minsan Lang Sila Bata” and “Macho Dancer” for class
minsan lang sila bata siguro mga 3 times

i would write my weekly phil. constitution paper in class in the morning and then submit it later that day after typing it out at the DS

(x) have spent a lot for 1×1 ID pictures

(X) get exempted from final exams

(X) attend a college mass

( ) promise to quit smoking

( ) play hide-and-seek in the mini-forest

(X) join an org

(X) allow yourself to make mistakes

(X) take summer classes

( ) admire the sacred heart statue in the evening

(x) have a crush on a teacher
kaya hindi ako napapraning when i find out that i have students who naively crush on me

( ) attend a Jesuit retreat

( ) have gotten a parking ticket

(X) come to school in your crappiest yet most comfy clothes

( ) learn how to use the Bayantel pay phones

(X) participate in school activities

(x) catch the Blue Babble Battalion tryouts

(x) date an Atenean

(X) ride a tricycle on campus

(X) find a tambayan (Soc Sci 4-eva, pubroom, Comm Dep)
freshman year —
cute upperclassman: so where do you stay? 
jacqui: huh?  as in do i dorm or go home…?
cute upperclassman: where can i find you?  where do you hang out?
jacqui:  aah.  um around?  i don’t have a tambayan eh. 
cute upperclassman: (tsk tsk tsk.  frosh.  )

(x) admire the marikina valley at night

(X) go drinking along Katipunan

( ) learn how to beg for a higher grade

(X) use your cuts wisely
allowed cuts are an opportunity cost

( ) volunteer to be class beadle

(x) had the worst lottery schedule for reg
never really cared.  habang nagsisingitan at nagtatakbuhan ang ibang mag-unahan mag-reg, ivy and i would be walking mala-in luneta under the moonlight watching everyone pass us by

(X) admire the trees on campus

( ) have forgotten about your free cut and gone to that class

(X) eat in the ISO canteen

(X) be active in your org
i loved selling churros.  bait ng mga atenista, alukin mo lang bibili na

( ) have signed up on an ACP class just because the girl or guy u like signed up for it
i don’t think i ever attended ACP

( ) get as many app forms as you can during the job fair

(X) learn how to cram

( ) sell tickets (or watch) an org-sponsored movie premiere

( ) save money to Xerox all of your seatmate’s notes
i don’t believe that works

( ) have accidentally seen a make-out session

(X) check out the Meron Lagoon and Lambingan Bridge

( ) have dozed off in class in Bel right after a class in CTC/SOM/Comm. Bldg or vice-versa

(X) learn how to work with groupmates from hell
the trick is not to get yourself too worked up about it.  kung wala ka sa mood eh di mag-ala-latak ka rin

( ) perfect the art of parking on campus

( ) had a bad encounter with one of the guards on campus

(x) develop a love for sisig
my marketing group celebrated at aysee’s after our presentation -coz we spent all our money printing and color-xeroxing and buying presentation paraphernalia.  donny didn’t really want to eat there kasi golden boy yun eh but he was also prinsipe ng pakikisama and even ended up paying the tab

(x) learn how to pronounce “AEGIS” properly

( ) have used typing rooms at the library

(x) have reserved a classroom, AVR, etc. for a class or org function
after a few times i learned to delegate the task to other people -hi caleen, hi patching, hi angel

( ) have asked the library for an endorsement to research in other libraries

( ) have lost a perfectly functioning umbrella

(X) have used consultation hours properly
once i spent an entire consultation trying to convince my teacher that i didn’t flunk my exam  because i broke up with my boyfriend.  "are you sure you’re ok?  coz kanina in class you seemed out of it."  nagkataon pa that i cut my hair really short that same week 

(X) Looked forward to lab breakage refund, in case you didn’t break any equipment

( ) visit the Guidance Office

(X) and Infirmary
to accompany someone lang to get meds.  sakto pa miguel was there using the weighing scale and then he asks the nurse, "tama ba ‘to?  sigurado kayong di siya 10 lbs. over?"  in denial.  dude that’s what happens when you graduate, bid the football team goodbye and become a teacher
